Fractured Series

This series of artworks draw inspiration from the Japanese art of Kintsugi - the art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with gold. As a philosophy it treats breakage and subsequent repair as part of the history of the object in a beautiful way. This series of meditative artworks represent the quest for balance or equanimity in these particularly turbulent times.
