Rococo Mirror

Rococo mirror inspired by one that can be seen at Blickling Hall, Norfolk. Anastasya wanted to make her version more 3-dimensional to add drama to the piece. An overall sketch was created, then modelled in clay from which the final mirror frame carving was referenced from, then gilded and toned slightly (again, she preferred to keep the original luminosity of the gold leaf, rather than attempt to make the mirror look “aged” or faux-antique.
